Apple Music

I love this app, the thing that would make it perfect is if we could use it with Apple Music. If you ever need to learn a song but dont have it in your library but have Apple Music it would make the process of learning songs a breeze. If you use this app regularly and have Apple Music you should definitely go to the Apple feedback page and request that Apple Music be compatible with Anytune.

Love it!

Does what its supposed to, and it does it well... But more importantly for me, simply. Easy to navigate, with thus far flawless operation.

Love this

Much better than a previous app I once used. It would work for only the first 10 seconds of a tune.

Was Good Before IOS 9

Since iOS9, anytune has been exhibiting hiccups when scrolling through music and searching for songs through the app. Please fix! Love the app

IOS 9 issues

Great app, but iOS 9 has made it unusable on my iPad 2. Lets hope Apple remedies this situation.

Great app

Like the speed and key controls

Bon app Good app

Highly useful app. With its slow down feature, its top notch.

Top notch app for musicians.

An excellent app for learning and practicing. Ive only been using it for about a month and havent tapped into a lot of the features. Beats MimiCopy for ease of use. Sound quality when slowing passages seems better as well. The step up feature is cool, takes a selected loop to half speed and accelerates at each round to bring it up to speed. I wish my metronome did that. Id give it 5 stars for just my limited grasp and usage of it.

Great practice app

This is a great app if you want something that you can put markers in your music and slow it down or speed it up, even change the key. The only thing was that it had a metronome. One that would tick and one that would actually say the beats.

Love it, but...

I honestly really love this app, I use it multiple times on a daily basis. I love being able to change the speed and pitch of my music, as well as the gain, pan, and EQ (and maybe some others that I havent discovered) However the reason Im rating 3 stars is because after buying a few ($10 worth) in-app purchases, every time I open the app I get a "restore purchases?" Pop-up. It slows the experience down and frankly is just annoying. Also sometimes if I use this app while its plugged in to my car, and I close the app, it plays the first few seconds of every song in my library, and I have to restart my phone to stop it (of course it doesnt always do this but its certainly a liability when it does). Not sure if anyone else has this issue but its very annoying, and Id change this review to 5 stars instantly if that gets fixed. Other than that, the IAPs are worth having, and this is an excellent app to have.

This app is awesome

This was perfect for helping my son learn a fast song (Cantina band from Star Wars). Thanks!

Best Ive found

I love how easy it is find a particular spot in a song. Pitch shift is awesome; now I can play guitar along with songs that are tuned down. The optional purchases are great, but too expensive in my opinion. ($14.99)

Very handy app for musicians

Im a classical voice student and some of my music comes with accompaniment CDs, which of course, arent anything like having a real pianist who can sense your needed tempo. My husband suggested this app, and its been awesome. I can slow down or speed up the accompaniment as needed, and adjusting pitch is also nice--I could see musicians of all types using this to be able to play along with their favorite songs. Kudos for ease of use, too.

Stellar app

I play guitar mostly covers so this app is an amazing tool. You have to pay a bit to get the really cool features but once you do, you can set markers anywhere in the song and loop between those marker to learn a lick. Also you can slow down the tune to help you learn it and the pitch will remain unchanged really helpful tool!!! Its like 15$ to unlock all the parts of the app its worth it too me. Better then amazing slow downer because you can use all your music on your phone!!! (your music not the Apple Music library you can access for 10$ a month as this is an encrypted file type not acc/MP3)

Helpful for memorizing, but takes work to learn and use

Anytune is the best Ive found to help memorize music. I can import songs from shared links (paid feature), mark sections to practice (paid to create more than five), and listen to just those sections, repeating if I want. Before Anytune, Id have to repeat whole songs, wasting time on things I didnt need to work on; fiddle with the playback controls to replay sections; or clip out sections into separate files. I also tried a couple alternatives, but found Anytune worked best for me. It took me some time and frustration to learn how to use Anytune on iPhone with its several switchable controls (and prompts to upgrade), but persistence has paid off. Setting marks for what I want to work on (setting start and stop times for sections to practice) still takes some fiddly work on the small iPhone screen, but it works. Again, best Ive found and helpful for memorization, but be prepared to invest time learning.

App cant handle 7k songs

Update 3.13.2 says it fixed where people with large collections of songs couldnt launch app. Well I can launch app yes, its just when using the app with over 7k songs it bugs out. After app has launched if I try to search for a song by typing it in, app freezes up. Also when I just scroll through a playlist while music is playing it will distort the audio thats playing. Plz fix this as I do love this app but ever since I added a large amount of music I been getting these issues.

Perfect for what I needed

Great tutorial to get started and had the features that I needed to very easily slow down songs, change keys, loop the solo section...and does a tone more. This product just works.

Useful app and grate to have

Ive been looking for an app to slow down my music for a long time and this one is better than anyone that Ive used

Great for learning a song

I love being able to slow down the song, Mark spots where there might be a tricky bit and also change the key so you can practice without cappoing or retuning.

Essential practice tool for all levels

Anytune has really helped me to step up my game as a guitar player - tabbing my favorite songs is easier, and my accuracy has gone way up over the last 6 months of using Anytune for interval training. Highly recommend!
